It’s almost winter! Or late autumn. Or not yet winter… Your choice.
Because the sun is low on the horizon, the light is warm and subjects are often back- or side-lit. The atmosphere is just perfect. Even though most trees don’t have leaves anymore, some still do, so they really stand out.
During these walks I managed to snap one shot that, in my opinion, is worth being included in my portfolio: Kissing The Sun. I love how the sun highlights the middle of the scene, almost like a spotlight, while the rest is mostly dark. There was a bit of haze and it’s a long lens shot, so it’s not extremely sharp, but I still find it really beautiful.
