We were visiting the area of Forth Bridge near Edinburgh, Scotland and we had just returned from a short boat tour of the islands of the Firth of Forth. Of course we were hungry, so we stopped in one of the places near the bridge for a quick bite.
We got a table by the window with a great view of the bridge.
And then I saw this photograph.
It was all a matter of perspective: being able to see the bridge from that very spot was crucial.
As soon as we finished our lunch, I got out and captured the image. The odd seagull adds a little bit of movement that I really like.
Feeling Small, Feeling Big is one of my favorite photos of all time and it hangs on a wall in our living room.
